A reflection tool to help you recognize neurodivergent traits — not a diagnosis, but a starting point for understanding.
⚠️ ImportantThis is NOT a diagnostic tool. It is designed for awareness and reflection only. Recognizing traits does not mean a diagnosis — but it may mean a conversation is worth having. If you recognize several signals, consider speaking with your child's teacher, the school's SENDCO team, or a qualified professional. Neurodivergence is not a deficit — it's a different way of experiencing the world.
The signals in this tool are informed by validated clinical screening instruments including DSM-5 criteria, the ASRS (WHO), AQ-10 (Autism Research Centre, Cambridge), British Dyslexia Association checklists, and the Vanderbilt Rating Scales. They have been adapted into accessible, non-clinical language for parent reflection.
